Proper hydration is important whether you're running a marathon or a marathon of errands. Hydration has a large impact on how well you perform and can lead to increased energy levels, support for healthy body function, and can help increase the absorption of nutrients.
A 2% loss in body weight through sweat while exercising has been known to decrease exercise performance greatly. Dehydration can also cause muscle cramping, headaches, nausea and fatugue. To prevent dehydration, hydrate according to thirst and replenish lost electrolytes.
