You must be 16+ years to enter.
Easy running on a flat course with a 100% sealed road surface. Walkers are welcome to enter in the Half Marathon. Please ensure walkers start at the back behind the runners and keep to the left at all times.
Timing mats will be located at all start lines and at the finish line. All timing results will be available online by age group category and will be based on participant's mat time.
The 14km event will be well supported with 4 aid stations located along the courses. Aid stations will at the following km marks and will be stocked with the below:

There will be a bag check service available at the start/finish area. You must NOT drop any gear at aid stations or anywhere on the course for later retrieval. Please collect your bag by 11:00pm Saturday 18 March 2017 before you leave the event area. Any remaining gear will be taken back to our event warehouse until Monday 27 March, and if not collected by this time will be donated to Charity.
AWARDS & SPOT PRIZES
All awards and spot prizes are awarded at the prize-giving which will take place at 10:30pm on Saturday 18 March at Mount Maunganui, Mount Drury Reserve. All competitors will be eligible for spot prizes and these will be randomly drawn at the awards.
Plaques will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the following age groups for both men and women, and will be based on participants mat time: 19 years and under, 20-29 years, 30-39 years, 40-49 years, 50-59 years, 60-69 years, 70+ years. No awards for the walking categories.
Late entries will be accepted at the Mount Drury Reserve on Saturday from 3:00pm to 6:30pm. All late entries will incur a $10 late fee. No eftpos available. Cash or cheque only.
Due to the terrain of the courses, strollers/prams, wheelchairs are allowed, but scooters, bikes cannot be used. Accompanying animals are not allowed on the course. Walkers are welcome to enter in the events. Please ensure walkers start at the back behind the runners and keep to the left at all times.
